1 million km goal
In 2021, we announced that our internal Fit Together and Caring Together platforms were joining forces. As part of this new project, we created the LLBG Charity Fund.
If we reached our goal of covering 1 million KM’s all together in 2021 by running, biking, swimming, … we would donate €50.000 to 10 charity organizations (€5.000 each) across our markets. All of these projects were proposed by our own colleagues and selected by our committee, as they bring to life our #CaringTogether pillars ‘Atelier La Lorraine’ (supporting young entrepreneurs) and ‘Good bread for all’ (helping out people in need).
We nearly reached our km goal, so we decided to start up the donation process! At the start of 2022, our local colleagues officially handed over the cheques to the organisations… and it meant a lot to them and to us!
